Mercedes’s Dutch driver Nick de Vries took the lead in the Formula E world championship before the final two races of the season on Sunday, with De Vries taking second place while Mahindra’s Alex Lane scored his first home win in London.
This is the second race to be held in the British capital after British driver Jake Dennis Andretti won the first race on Saturday.
Briton Lynn was declared the winner of the race today after leader Lucas di Grassi was disqualified for a foul, eventually finishing eighth after being penalized.
De Vries leads the overall standings by 6 points over fellow Envision Virgin Racing driver Robin Frijn, while Briton Sam Bird dropped from first to third, 14 points off the lead after failing to finish both races yesterday and today.
In the team list, Envision leads the standings, 7 points ahead of Mercedes. The last two races of the season will be held in Berlin on August 14 and 15.
