“The largest artistic initiative in history” … a huge painting was recorded in Dubai with the Guinness Book

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: A huge painting that took 7 months to work on in Dubai has found its way into the Guinness Book of Records.

British painter Sasha Jefri, who is based in Dubai, succeeded in entering the Guinness Book of World Records, through a painting on canvas that is the largest of its kind in the world, with an area of ​​17 thousand and 176.6 square feet, according to the official website of the office Media figure for the Dubai government, Monday.

The painting bears the name “Journey of Humanity”, and it is considered the largest global social, artistic and charitable initiative in history, and it comes within the framework of the charitable initiative “Inspired Humanity”, according to the site.
In a previous interview with CNN in Arabic in July of 2020, Jefri said: “Nobody has ever tried to do something with this scale before!”

The project aims to connect children from different backgrounds, regardless of their religions, colors, and social and financial backgrounds, into a record-breaking artwork, according to what he mentioned.

The initiative aims to raise $ 30 million to contribute to achieving a positive change in the lives of children in need around the world, and those most affected by the effects of the Coronavirus “Covid-19” pandemic, in the poorest regions.
