Egypt deposited the World Cup after a marathon match with Denmark

The Egyptian team left the World Cup after its defeat to Denmark (39-38) in the quarter-finals.

The match lasted 80 minutes. After the original time ended in a draw (28-28), the two teams resorted to two additional games that did not result in anything new, as a tie prevailed (33-33) and the matter was repeated in the third and fourth additional halves, to end the match (35-35).

The Danish national team succeeded in winning penalty throws, 4-3, after Ahmed Al-Ahmar and Ali Zain wasted the Egyptian national team’s two-host team.

Denmark will play the winner of the Spain-Norway semi-final match next Friday.
