Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp confirmed that the talk about the contract of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will not affect the team at the current time, indicating that he will participate in the first round of Manchester United in the fourth round of the FA Cup, today, Sunday.
Klopp said in statements carried by the British “Liverpool Echo” website: “I do not think that talking about Mohamed Salah’s contract will affect the team’s performance,” noting that this is considered “normal in the world of football.”
In response to the possibility of his main participation, Klopp said: “Yes, it is possible that Salah will participate in the main … I do not think that is a big secret.”
He added, “We rarely declare about matters that we think are important.”
He ended his words by saying: “For me, I do not think that Mohamed Salah’s contract will spoil the Liverpool season.”
