Two residents in the UAE obtain the ‘British Empire rank’ for the New Year 2021

United Arab Emirates-based producers Pietra Milo-Pitman and Ella Spira, who founded Sisters Grimm, were awarded the ‘Super-Distinction Within the British Empire’ (MBE) for their services related to international trade and creative sectors, in the New Year’s List of Honor that is being run through Honoring a large group of exceptional people in the United Kingdom for their distinguished achievements.

This notable honor comes after a year of huge successes for Sisters Grimm. In 2020, Ella and Pietra moved to the UAE with a double residence between their headquarters in London and Dubai, and the establishment of a production and recording studio in ‘Burj Khalifa’. During the pandemic period due to the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), Sisters Grimm utilized time effectively by continuing to produce creative works characterized by true international cooperation, this time with the Middle East region.

Sisters Grimm has released five songs in 2020, “Peace be upon you,” “We are all One”, “Tareeq Al Bait”, which was filmed in “Dubai Opera”, “Among the Stars”, and “Al Ittihad” that was released on the occasion of the celebration of the UAE National Day and included Her own unique paintings and sculptures to show the natural beauty of the UAE. The songs received a large number of viewers, reaching more than 3.5 million, and were distinguished by the cooperation of the Sisters Grimm with a number of prominent musical talents from various parts of the Middle East such as Debi Gad, Arqam Al-Abri, Shamma Hamdan, Don Abdullah (Abdullah Maid Salem Andes), Madyan Hamza and Layla Cardan.
