QENA’S first black horse riding school in upper Egypt

The sport which has always been controlled by men according to Traditions, equestrianism has been a major component in Arab culture.

The school was established by the brothers Karim and Hashem Talha, and their female instructors team will be headed by captain Aya Alaa.

Despite the school’s achievements, they haven’t been able to receive the support necessary for them to register as an official member of the Equestrian Federation— a feat they’ll surely reach sooner rather than later. For now, they’re rolling up their sleeves and pushing equestrianism forward for both Qena’s boys and girls.
